Denim was launched in Europe in the early 70s as a men´s cosmetics brand. Early successes with aftershaves inspired the addition of shower gels, deodorants and shaving gels. In October 2004 Italy´s Conter S.p.A acquired the brand rights from Unilever. This was followed by a relaunch of the packaging, to give the brand a more contemporary look.
Conter has been supplying grooming products and toiletries for over 30 years, primarily to the Italian market.
